Poultry Nutrients

Poultry feed is a combination of various nutrient sources mixed and blended in pre-designed proportions. The major nutrients are : Carbohydrates (Maize, Jawar, Bajra, Wheat etc), Proteins (Meat Meal, Fish Meal, Soya etc), Fats (Animal Fats, Oil Cakes, Oil etc.), Amino acids, Fiber, Minerals and Vitamins. Carbohydrates, Proteins and Fats are the main nutrients required. The feed formulae therefore are designed in view of arriving at specified Protein and Energy requirements.
