NICOMIX is India's first comprehensive and value added
vitamin premix for poultry. |
NICOMIX provides
21% additional Vitamin A and 25% of Vitamin D3
compared to conventional AB2D3K premixes.
This means NICOMIX provides 10 mIU of Vitamin A and 1.5 mIU
of Vitamin D3 when added @ 250 g/ton of feed. This
supplement level is as per the international technical recommendations
for tropical climate. The user has to add 120 G of conventional
AB2D3K per ton of feed to meet these
levels. NICOMIX also eliminates usage of extra Vitamin B12.
NICOMIX provides Folic Acid in addition to all other vitamins.
The Vitamin BE group levels in NICOMIX change as per the regional
requirements.

Properties
of Nicomix Range of Products
Appearance :
Brownish, fine granular and free flowing powder composed of
small, hard, spherical beadlets having rough surfaces.
Specific gravity:
Particle size and specific gravity are about the same as those
of most of the ingredients of conventional feed stuff; this
ensures homogeneity.
Rough surface:
The rough surfaces of the beadlets effectively prevent segregation
after they have been mixed into the feeding stuff.
Number of beadlets:
High number of beadlets (about 100,000 beadlets per gm) ensures
that even the animals taking small amount of feed will receive
the proper amount of vitamin A and other vitamins.
Stabilisation:
Vitamin A & D3 are embedded in a matrix of gelatin
and sugar. The beadlets are further protected by a coating of
starch. This prevents major loss of stability due to temperature,
moisture, pressure, minerals, antibiotics etc.
Absorption :
Rapid biological absorption and complete biological availability.
Conclusions :
Thus it can be seen that Nicomix range combines a number of
valuable properties , such as high stability, full biological
activity, resistance to heat and pressure and dispersibility.
It is a combination of these properties, which is responsible
