Vitamins is the essential part of poultry nutrition. The poultry feed is largely deficient in vitamins. The feed is therefore fortified by commercially available synthetic vitamins. The major group of vitamin premixes used in poultry feed are AB2 D3K premixes, BE group premixes and other vitamins like Biotin and Vitamin C.  Nicholas Piramal is the largest and the only producer of Vitamin A in South Asia.
